DR HELEN IREDALE

GP Partner - MBBS MRCGP (Newcastle 2004)

Tues, Thurs, Fri Born and raised locally in York I went to Newcastle Medical School and graduated in 2004. I worked in Warwick in the Midlands for 18 months before returning to my hometown of York for GP training. Attracted by the beautiful surrounding countryside, I came to work in Easingwold following completion of my training and have now lived and worked here for 10 years. I am a Generalist at heart and love the challenge of the variety of everything that comes through the door in General Practice but my particular areas of interest are children, women’s heath and contraception. I offer fitting and removal of contraceptive implants and coils. Outside of work I like to relax by spending time with my young family in the outdoors; running, gardening and talking to my chickens.

Pharmacists

We have a team of pharmacists who work for the surgery undertaking a lot of our medication reviews and queries. They work remotely and so contact patients by telephone. Their hours include evenings and weekends so may phone during 'unusual' hours. If you would like to discuss your medication, please contact the surgery and arrange an appointment with a member of this team.

Urgent Care Practitioners

A team of Urgent Care Practitioners works alongside Millfield Surgery seeing patients that require on the day appointments. The team work from several GP practices in the area, therefore, if you need an in-person appointment, you may need to travel to another surgery.
