Patient Participation Group (PPG)
THE PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP MILLFIELD SURGERY EASINGWOLD
Millfield Surgery has a Patient Participation Group, which represents the patients of Millfield Surgery and acts as a link between patients and the Practice.
Its primary aim is to foster GOOD HEALTH among the community. It is also a vehicle of communication between the Practice and its patients.
The Patient Participation Group consists of a committee of ten members. It meets approximately four times a year.
The PPG has existed for over 10 years. To encourage good health in the community, we have held various stalls displaying information on a variety of health issues ranging from diabetes to heart disease. The most recent stall provided recipes to combat obesity and offered healthy foods to take away free of charge.
We thank all patients, who visited and supported these stalls.
The PPG works closely with the Surgery to support new initiatives. We plan, in December, a drop in session to support any patients, who might need help accessing the new Total Triage system. Members of the PPG committee will be at the surgery to support you on an individual basis. We will advertise the date and time on Easingwold Forum Facebook and on posters around town.
Future events and activities of the Patient Participation Group will be posted on this site.
The Aims of the Patient Participation Group
We are encouraging patients to give their views about how the practice is doing. We would like to be able to find out the opinions of as many patients as possible and are asking if people would like to provide their email addresses so we can contact you by email every now and again to ask you a question or two.
Are you interested in leaving your email details? If so please complete the online form below.
Your contact details will only be used for this purpose and will be kept safely.
